As someone with multiple bilingual friends where English is not the first language, may I present to you a list of actual incidents I have witnessed:

Lmao sometimes I see this post and I get reminded I had a ‘can’t switch’ moment. I’m sure I’ve said this one before but one day my sister woke me up and I was still like half asleep and I was trying to talk to her but it kept coming out in spanish when I was trying to speak in english. And I was then like “fuck no puedo habl–arrrghh”. I mean it didnt matter much cause my sister could understand me but we just always communicate in english.
